As You Like It, William Shakespeare’s delightful comedy where characters venture into the woods and return transformed, tells the tale of how we find true love (and our true selves) in nature. The story is told with the help of faithful cousins and vengeful siblings, city clowns and country clowns, wooing lessons and wrestling matches, poetic trees and prosaic sheep, men, women and women disguised as men. The Traveling Players Ensemble presents this event that takes place 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7.

The Muscarelle Museum of Art is pleased to announce its affiliation with Blue Star Museums, a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 1,800 museums across America to offer free admission to all active duty military personnel and their families this summer. During this time, visitors to the museum can enjoy the Muscarelle’s permanent collection, which has grown to over four thousand works of art encompassing a diverse group of objects from antiquity to the present, Eastern and Western art, and examples of almost every material and medium.
