Things to Do: Model Railroad Display

Powerful locomotives, loaded boxcars and the miniature communities they pass through will all be on display Dec. 4-5 at the 6th Annual Ford’s Colony Model Railroad Show at the James City County Library on Croaker Road.

Intricately detailed locomotives and railcars travel through lifelike scale scenery, while friendly conductors talk about their favorite activity to passengers of all ages.

The layouts will be displayed Saturday from 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and Sunday 1-4 p.m. Admission is free. For more information, call the library’s Adult Services Division at (757) 259-7720 or visit the library’s website at www.wrl.org.
