Restaurant Review: Buon Amici Ristorante

Just about everything on Buon Amici’s menu sounds and looks appetizing. From Buon Amici’s own pizza creation straight from their brick oven, like The Godfather-molto bene-to its Manicotti with add-ons such as sausage, grilled chicken, or meatballs-benissimo-you couldn’t just come here once.  Where else can you get such an interesting dish like Penne alla Vodka? Or Clams Casino? And that’s just the prima piatti. For a second course they have selections that will really tickle your fancy. Like the Maple Leaf Duck Breast Saltimbocca or the Maine Lobster and Cognac Capellini. Just feasting my eyes on such a teasing menu is to…to…mettere paglia al fuoco!

TIP: To add more fuel to the fire (translation of previous phrase), Buon Amici is not just a great place to eat, but a fun place to meet friends. They host Social Hour Tuesday through Friday from 4PM to 6PM with half-priced appetizers in their bar lounge or out on the patio. Speaking of the patio, they’ve got life music out there every Saturday from 7PM to 10PM. But if you really want to get over the hump of the week, come out on Wednesday nights when they extend their social hour to 8PM, with live jazz music from 6PM to 9PM.
