Free Concert at Williamsburg Library October 18

The United States Air Force Heritage of America Band’s Langley Winds will span more than 250 years of musical tradition during a free concert Oct. 18 at the Williamsburg Library.

Tickets or reservations are not needed. For more information on the concert visit www.wrl.org or call (757) 259-4070. This is another in the library’s Dewey Decibel Concert series.

Comprised of flute, oboe, clarinet, horn and bassoon, the sextet performs a wide variety of chamber works as well as popular and patriotic pieces.

The Langley Wind’s versatility stems from their diverse educational backgrounds and professional experiences. Members of the ensemble hold degrees from music schools all over the country and have performed with a wide range of orchestras. The event begins at 7:30 p.m.
