About once a month, the musicians of Bruton Parish present special programs honoring Peter Pelham (1722-1805), the church’s first organist, who served for nearly 50 years in the late 18th century. Some Peter Pelham concerts are presented in the evening, while others are part of the Church’s regular worship services. Recent concerts have included advent lessons and carols, French organ masters, Mozart’s “Coronation Mass,” and a tribute to Ralph Vaughan Williams on the 50th anniversary of his death.
