Night of the Living Museum

At the Virginia Living Museum, enjoy this evening of non-scary Halloween fun for families with kids ages 12 and under: Night of the Living Museum.

Enjoy pumpkin carving secrets from the Pumpkin Lady, hear spooky tales of Halloween from the Storytelling Witch and learn the ways of spiders large and small from the Spider Lady.

Our fierce and not-so-fierce Halloween critters will be shown live in our amphitheater.  A Halloween assortment of creepy crawlies will be on display!

Visit the witch’s cave, pirate cove, enchanted forest, ogre’s swamp and magical waterfall.  Observe the stars in the Halloween night sky (weather permitting).  Take a nighttime hike along our outdoor boardwalk.  Hunt for space pirates in special planetarium shows (limited seating, first come, first served).  Make creepy crafts and play Halloween games while trick-or-treating throughout the night!

Stay late for Fright Light laser shows at 8 & 9pm ($3 members, $6 non-members).  The Wild Side Cafe will be open before and during the event.  Kids of all ages – don’t forget to wear your favorite costume!

COST: $7 members, $10 non-members
